painting

well we would have painted had the previous occupant moved out like they said they had! thanks to those who came to help anyway and at least we had an excuse to buy a bbq and have the first burgers and wine in the garden this year (not counting other things with wine which we've had a lot!)!!! it's especially nice as we thought we wouldn't ever have a warm chance to sit out there. i will really miss my garden. the jasmine is in full bloom and smells divine. t came and dug up the bamboo and a couple of other trees and took all the bird tables and boxes so it looks a bit bare at the end. but i will miss it.

moving again!

ok. it's happening. we have to be out by 13th may so off to paint today. (fads do a very good half price deal on white emulsion!) anyone who wants a glass of wine in exchange for weilding a roller most welcome!!!!!
