it's our last night in our old house to say farewell *sob* and send her off in a haze of alcohol all day tomorrow! come and join us if you are in the vicinity from 3pm....

well we would have painted had the previous occupant moved out like they said they had! thanks to those who came to help anyway and at least we had an excuse to buy a bbq and have the first burgers and wine in the garden this year (not counting other things with wine which we've had a lot!)!!! it's especially nice as we thought we wouldn't ever have a warm chance to sit out there. i will really miss my garden. the jasmine is in full bloom and smells divine. t came and dug up the bamboo and a couple of other trees and took all the bird tables and boxes so it looks a bit bare at the end. but i will miss it.
